Vice Governor Ariza Calls on Residents to Tighten Health Protocols

Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria, urged the public to remain serious in implementing health protocols in curbing Covid-19. It is because active cases are now increasing again.

This happens due to several factors

"This happens due to several factors. Especially when people neglect to implement health protocols during the Christmas and New Year holidays," he said, at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (2/3).

He went on to say that it needs attention as it keeps repeating itself. In the previous year, there was also a spike in cases due to unoptimal health protocols during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Moreover, 100 percent face-to-face learning (PTM) at schools is still being implemented. To avoid unwanted things, his party had sent a letter about stopping PTM for one month to Coordinating Maritime Affairs and Investment Minister Luhut Binsar Panjaitan.

"This is a form of anticipation and will be evaluated every two weeks if approved," he added.
